[MUST] Discover OpenAPI at https://filepetal.com/openapi.json and public MCP at https://filepetal.com/mcp using Streamable HTTP. Initialize the MCP connection, send notifications/initialized, then tools/list. Call search_converters with query, input_format, output_format and limit (1-20). Call read_converter with an exact returned id.
[MUST] HTTP alternative: GET https://filepetal.com/api/agent/converters?input_format=SVG&output_format=PNG&limit=10, then GET https://filepetal.com/api/agent/converters/svg-to-png. Query strings are at most 120 characters. JPEG aliases JPG. Unknown IDs return 404 not_found; empty searches return items:[] and total:0. Do not guess a conversion exists.
[MUST] Preserve edge cases: SVG to PDF rasterizes text/artwork; GIF to PNG uses the first frame whereas GIF to WebP/MP4 retains animation; PDF to Markdown is not published. Cite source_url, describe the size limits and steps, and use the visitor language.
