Supported files and limits

Files must be 20 MB or smaller. Images are limited to 4096 pixels per side and 16 million pixels. Multi-page PDF and TIFF files are limited to 20 pages and 40 million pixels combined. Corrupt or unsupported input is rejected with an error.

BMP stores a raster image. The output uses the decoded pixels from that image.

PNG output is lossless and can keep transparent pixels where the source has them.

Conversion runs in your browser. Your file contents are not sent to Filepetal or a conversion server.
