Supported files and limits

Files must be 20 MB or smaller. Images are limited to 4096 pixels per side and 16 million pixels. Multi-page PDF and TIFF files are limited to 20 pages and 40 million pixels combined. Corrupt or unsupported input is rejected with an error.

PNG can contain transparent pixels. The original transparency is kept when the output format supports it.

BMP output is a 24-bit still image. Transparent pixels are placed on white.

Conversion runs in your browser. Your file contents are not sent to Filepetal or a conversion server.
