AI input must contain PDF-compatible or EPS-compatible artwork. Other native AI files are rejected.

Supported files and limits

Files must be 20 MB or smaller. Images are limited to 4096 pixels per side and 16 million pixels. Multi-page PDF and TIFF files are limited to 20 pages and 40 million pixels combined. Corrupt or unsupported input is rejected with an error.

PDF-compatible and EPS-compatible Illustrator files are supported. Other native AI files need to be saved in one of those forms first.

SVG output contains traced vector paths, not an embedded copy of the raster image. It approximates colors, edges and text.

Conversion runs in your browser. Your file contents are not sent to Filepetal or a conversion server.
